Illinois Business Leader Jeffrey Kallister
Based in Rochester, Illinois, Jeffrey P. Kallister worked for Mark Burnett Productions in Los Angeles in 2005 and 2006. He secured several promotions during his tenure as a Hollywood production assistant. His responsibilities mainly entailed managing tapes and transcribing footage during the post-production of major motion pictures. In 2007, Jeffrey P. Kallister went to work for the family-owned business S&K Buick GMC in Illinois. Since that time, he has managed all day-to-day activities and business operations at the dealership. He took over as Owner and Dealer Principal of S&K Buick GMC in 2019 when his father retired. He operates the auto retailer with a focus on accountability and collaboration for the entire staff. His efforts have resulted in a Buick Mark of Excellence Award and a finalist showing for a Small Business Owner of the Year Award. Jeff also serves as the president of his local LMA, Buick GMC local media advertising in the Champaign and Springfield district.
A multi-sport varsity athlete at Dunlap High School, Jeffrey Kallister attended Bradley University, earning a degree in radio, television, and digital communication. He later completed an automotive education program at the National Automobile Dealers Association Academy. His community affiliations include the Springfield Chamber of Commerce, Central Illinois Foodbank, Prevent Child Abuse Illinois, Military Order of the Purple Heart, and the local youth football league.
